Nanryo High’s ensemble prepares for auditions as the Eastern Kanto Tournament approaches. Aikawa and Katagiri, first and second seat trumpets, fiercely compete for the prestigious first seat and the solo performance. Amid the rivalry, Aikawa realizes her feelings for Katagiri run deeper than expected. Meanwhile, oboe player Himeji struggles with the tournament coinciding with a writing competition she’s dreamed of winning. Crushed by the pressure, she considers drastic action until her classmate Hachijou steps in to help—but at what cost?
