You can post the pencils with ink, or just the pencils. You know that other people can do the jobs of inking, toning, lettering, etc. It doesn't have to be all you. I would just go ahead and put up something so people can see. Some like to see the progression of pencils to ink anyway. As for learning toning, well, I know there are some get computer (manga) toning programs that you can buy. Or maybe find some art classes. I bought the lettering program online and I love it! So I've been doing all the lettering. Kerry Scribner has been doing the drawing. The pages you see on my site are pencils right now.
There's nothing wrong with having your work look alittle like Naturo. I mean, Fairy Tail looks like One Piece, but two different artists/creators. I don't see any of your work on this site. Will be posting any soon?
That's pretty much right on. Many of those how to draw manga books have those. Publishers tend to frown on those generic styles.
I guess the best way to describe fan art as it looks rather generic. I know you've looked at lots of manga and you should notice how well the art looks. Fan art looks rather plain, no depth or detail. If you go to deviantart, you will see fan art, I can guarantee that. If your still not sure, I'll try to find you an example.
Here's the best I can say: Manga Studio (From what I've heard) is an excellent program for toning and getting your manga together. I really don't know a lick about toning myself. I have a friend here in the states that knows and he is going to do it for me when the inking is finished. My strongest suggestion is to open a deviantart site for yourself. There, you can display your artwork without having copyright issues, if that is what is troubling you. Deviantart(.com) is an excellent way to meet other artist from different fields and get information. It is a great way to connect. (For your own protection, make sure you have a great computer anti-virus program because you never know what you might pick up from any of these sites.)
