Have no fear of the fate cast upon you
Whether it is life, death, or sickness
Hope will surpass the undeniable truth
And when spirits are down
Look into your soul and find
The fluttering dove, the olive branch, the red string
And know that to you it will bind
All that does pursue
If you are to live, but living is to be unbeared
Then march upon heavens gate with wings outspread
And in your dreams, to God say declared,
That the world on your shoulders is but an angel’s job
And you are none but a man needing mending
And God will listen to your pleas
Perhaps, with the honest truth and no pretending
He will lessen your burden and lift its strains
And find you a place, find you a sanctuary
When the ravens caw, and the death bells toll
And you find yourself at the gates of hell
Be prepared, it may be ripped out of you, your soul
But beg not the devil, for he bargains little
So find a fallen angel, who still dreams of hope
And help lift its broken wings, fill its empty heart
Perhaps you’ll be allowed to outstretch your arms and grope
And fly with the angel in serenity
And be it sickness that cast you weary and weak
Hope is the only possible cure for your disease
And if you are unable to speak
Collapse down on your knees, and use the last of your strength
To call upon your loved ones, your hated, and God
And repent, cry out for redemption, forgiveness, cry at length
And perhaps, perhaps they will surround you
With loving caring arms
Be you living, sick, or dying,
Remember, pray and ask them to forgive
Because the burden of a guilty empty shell
Is much too great to be a burden in hell
No matter the situation, get down on your knees
And ask god for forgiveness, no matter how extreme
Beg him, the Lord, with no pride of man, and ask him
Please save him, please save her…
Please save us if you can
