That was a great read! Very interesting concept. so in this pilot program, do Tokyo pop artists do the drawing, tonning & shading or is it all done by you. It's fantastic work none the less. You should be very proud. :)

It was sometimes hard to tell what was going on in the story and also sometimes pretty hard to tell the characters from the background but overall, it really is good enough to be published. The Name was probably somewhat unpolished so that is probably one reason why. Also, considering it was viewed on the internet and not as a book, that played a huge role in it as well. Overall, I agree that it should be published. Looks interesting and it has the potential to get much better and become popular.

I do NOT like the new manga players on the beta site. the only reason to post manga on this site was because of the manga players. they made it feel like you had "published" a book without the cost. these new players are a) unreadable- in small size. b)- unusable- I cannot no matter how I try get the players to enlarge... might be because of my slow connection but still... the programers should have taken those of us who can't afford faster connections into consideration. if I had wanted to have my art in a "video" format I would have uploaded to youtube where I could enlarge the art to full screen so I could actually read it without freezing my computer. bring the old players back please... don't fix what isn't broken!!!!!

I love the art. It's very clean. However, I do think that there is too much background sometimes and it's a bit overwhelming. The storyline is eh~ She's allowed to be her brother's valet because he doesn't want her to be alone in the house, but her dad seems to be around the house...? Like Daphne says, "She doesn't look so alone to me." I must say though, I enjoyed Daphne's hysterics. She's hilarious.

This is the first pilot I've read thus far that has completely grabbed me. I loved the art, the story line was pretty good, quite compelling and you had time to connect with the main character right away as hate other characters right away. Though some characters could have room for development and I relize theres only so many pages for pilot episode but the conversation with the father could have been better. This is a manga that I wouldn't mind following and reading more of.

I really liked the bridge guardian and when the main character socked Daphne. Overall I wasn't sure that it really grabbed me or that it was my type of story but then I reread it a second time and decided that I definitely liked it and would follow it so I hope there is more in the future:).

Before I begin, I just want to say that I'm trying to keep my review as constructive and honest as possible. Your story is an interesting idea and your drawing it's half-bad. But, your characters don't seem to possess any depth whatsoever and I don't see any potentional for character development, because they already seem too static to survive even another chapter. And when you write a prologue annoucing that your story is going to explore the boundaries of good and evil, it's not a great idea to suddenly leap into a light'n'fluffy exposition. It's generic, uninteresting and jarring. I honestly would never buy this. I did like the snakes though.

Well, first off, i love the story, the art is great and after reading it, i wanna read the rest of it. Its very interesting and i would definitely buy this one! I liked how when Daphne used magic, there was a little surprise as to what Minerva turned into, it adds a little twist into the story when Minerva's nemesis is a princess..

I enjoyed this a lot, you left me wanting to know what happens next, which is perfect. The art was nice, with interesting character designs. I disagree with other comments I read here, I can see many different avenues you could explore in this as a series and based on some of the first comments in the book, I could probably guess. The artwork was very nice, with a clean and effective style. Overall I give this a 4, it has a lot of potential and I would to see it pursued further!

It was really interesting, and I liked it a lot. I wish I could find out what happens next and it really would make an amazing manga. The only thing I didn't like about it would be the beginning. It really didn't get me very hooked until I met Daphne. Although it's supposed to be short, I think the beginning is a bit stretched out, and then the events are rushed a little bit. Other than that, I loved it!

Loved this! This is awesome! I'd give the art 10/10 I couldn't see a single flaw in what was available. Story, I'd give it a 8/10, nice story but I don't see just yet how it would work into a series (but this is only the first chapter =P) good job, I'd definitely buy it

The art is not bad, I can feel the life coming out of the characters. And the balance between ink and tone is good. However, you need to work more on scenes which has to do withh 'contact' (Mierva punches Daphne vice versa). The storyline is just your typical fantasy story, somewhat overated - messed up girl vs princess. Hoever, some of the things they say are a bit... lame, unecessary and doesn't fit at all (such as the part when Daphne insult Minerva near the end). The language doesn't fit the medieval time verywell, a bit too modern. I might buy it, but most likely no because of the storyline.

The cover art is fantastic! In fact i loved everything about it-the plot was gripping, the drawings were just amazing and the characters were really good! I can't wait to read the whole thing. : )

I think the artwork is pretty good. The story is interesting. I think that certain parts were a little too dramatic while other parts just built it up too fast to be effective. Other parts seemes a little juvenile. The sort that falls on the writer's inability to effectively portray a situation in a way that would be at least a little believable. The spoiled princess is a little too unreal. I don't understand what would compel any girl over the age of five to insult another person in such a manner. The "Haha, I'm rich and you're not" mannerism can work if used correctly, but in this case, correctly wouldn't be saying it straight out to someone's face. The quote, "So what if bad things happened to you and your family?" just isn't the sort of thing you would hear from a girl her age. In all, I think the story has potential, but as it is now, I wouldn't buy it.
