I assume everyone's heard about the terrible earthquake that struck Sichuan province in China. According to dad it has the greatest population density in China. Not to mention this dam that held tonnes of water above a city in a valley could have been severely damaged.

May my prayers reach those who are struck by the terrible disaster.
I can't do much here but at least I'll pray, and pray hard for this disaster not to get any worse than it already is. And pray for those who were afflicted to find safety and calm soon.

I don't usually write these kinds of things, but I felt I needed to since it's a disaster that affected my country of birth. What I honestly don't believe is that they're still trying to tarnish China's reputation even during this hour of crisis. I could have sworn in the news report they're b****ing about stuff that doesn't need b****ing about.

Wow, despite what they say about China, I find that these supposedly small verbal slights in this sort of situation far more disgusting.

Even Australia can be disappointing like that, even though I've come to love this country in its own way.
